Lanarkshire Carers Centre run a number of activities and events for carers throughout the year. We also run tailored activities and events for specific groups of carers, such as Young Adult Carers, Black & Minority Ethnic Carers and those caring for someone with a specific health condition.

Following the success of the Singing Workshops which took place in October & November 2016, we are holding 3 additional workshops for carers in partnership with SoundRoutes Singers. These workshops are free for carers to attend:

Supporting Carers Every Step of the Way

Lanarkshire Carers Centre Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday 18th September 2017 from 10am to 1pm at St Bride’s Hall, 31 Coursington Road, Motherwell, ML1 1PP.

The AGM will focus on the changes, challenges and choices ahead with the implementation of the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016. There will be the opportunity to find out more about Lanarkshire Carers Centre's work delivering Adult Carer Support Plans and how Mindfulness could impact on and help in a caring role. The agenda will include an update on the review of Lanarkshire Carers Centre’s governing documents.

Lunch will be provided and places must be booked in advance.
